In celebration of Professor Nader Angha’s birthday and the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the MTO Shahmaghsoudi Los Angeles Square Dedication Ceremony was held on September 21, 2024, officially naming the intersection of Sherman Way and Hesperia Ave as MTO Shahmaghsoudi®️ Square.
This dedication stands as a testament to MTO’s commitment to humanitarian service and the sharing of its timeless teachings of Sufism.
At the ceremony, MTO Los Angeles was honored to receive a dedicated U.S. Flag that was flown over the U.S. Capitol along with five Recognition Certificates from all levels of government offices, including U.S. Congressman Tony Cardenas, CA Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, LA County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, City Councilmember Nithya Raman, Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, the LA Public Works Commission and high-ranking Police Department officials.
Additionally, MTO LA received approval for a special grant from the LA County for all its various charity initiatives.
