MTO Sufi Verband e.V. is pleased to announce Seen and Unseen: Sufi Life in Frankfurt, a photography exhibition curated by Negah Angha, taking place from 16–22 October 2026 at the Römerhalle Frankfurt.
The exhibition explores Sufi life as lived practice in contemporary Germany, with a focus on the MTO Shahmaghsoudi community in Frankfurt. Through photographs by Negah Angha, Aram Norouzi, and Mehdi Varvani, the exhibition traces ritual, service, hospitality, listening, and everyday forms of community life.
The project forms part of a wider program of public engagement and dialogue developed with the support of public and academic partners. Alongside the exhibition and accompanying catalogue, related initiatives include Sufi Dialogues, interfaith encounters, and conversations on Muslim life, spirituality, and civic belonging in contemporary Germany.
