The Eid-al-Fitr marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Traditionally, this holiday is spent with family and friends after the morning prayers.
For believers, the end of the fasting month also holds deep spiritual significance. Islamic Sufism teaches that after a period of gathering, reflection, and concentration, one patiently and hopefully awaits divine blessings, similar to a parched land eagerly awaiting the longed-for rain, to gain more knowledge and understanding of one’s own being.
Eid Mubarak!
