Mayor of Albany Joins M.T.O. Berkeley for Back-To-School Supply Drive

On August 15, 2021, M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Berkeley took part in a Back-To-School supplies drive to support low-income student families at U.C. Berkeley’s University Village Bear Pantry in collaboration with Albany Mayor Ge'Nell Gary, Albany Firefighter's Association Local 5130, Albany Starbucks, and other community organizations. M.T.O. Berkeley donated 90 backpacks, each containing a 50 piece school supplies kit and a snack bag, along with 116 face masks in different sizes for children of all ages and adults. All the face masks included a flyer detailing M.T.O. 's meditation and relaxation sessions available through the Tamarkoz® App and Live on Instagram and Facebook. Mayor Gary and Michael Sanchez of the University Village Bear Pantry acknowledged and thanked M.T.O. for their generosity and the opportunity to work together in partnership to serve the community.
