Fort Bend County Schools Receive Donations of PPE from M.T.O. Houston

November 20, 2020 M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Houston Center Houston, Texas

Two schools in the Fort Bend Independent School District received donations of 190 face shields and 175 face masks from M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® Houston in celebration of World Children’s Day. Barrington Place Elementary School and Sugar Land Middle School received handmade face masks and face shields for students, teachers, and staff. The goal of the M.T.O. global Covid-19 response has been to unite communities in an effort to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 and bring mental health awareness through calming, meditative Tamarkoz® exercises. The donation packages were accepted by the school principals and nurses with much gratitude. One of the principals mentioned that oftentimes, students come to school without a proper mask, and that special education teachers will benefit from the face shields. The Tamarkoz® App live sessions for children in honor of World Children’s Day were shared with educators and families within the community.
