M.T.O. Berkeley Celebrates September 4th with Oakland Mayor by Donating to Community

Student volunteers from M.T.O. Shahmaghsoudi® School of Islamic Sufism® Berkeley celebrate September 4th by donating 600 masks & 300 care packages filled with essentials to the Prescott-Joseph Center and 200 latex gloves, 20 face masks, 20 face shields and 20 hospital gowns to their BreathMobile. September 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the appointment of the 42nd Sufi Master Professor Nader Angha. The occasion also falls on the eve of the International Day of Charity. Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf and Oakland Councilmember Lynette Gibson McElhaney were in attendance and spoke at the event commending M.T.O. 's charitable efforts.
