The theme of the Spring 2015 semester's interfaith shabbat was "What calls you?". Each co-sponsoring student group each presented a prayer or poem. Students selected and discussed what calls them most from subjects such as compassion, spirituality, knowledge, and kindness. The campus faith groups that participated were Catholics at Cal, M.T.O. Sufi Association®, Punjabis at Berkeley, Sikh Student Association, Ahmadiyya Muslim Student Association, and Berkeley Hillel. All faith traditions and spiritual backgrounds were welcome. The UC Berkeley M.T.O. Sufi Association® shared a short piece on prayer and read a poem from the book Revelation by Molana Salaheddin Ali Nader Shah Angah "Pir Oveyssi".
